PROFILE
The TARGETECH INNOVATION CENTER is a private dynamic high
technology incubator located in the new high technology
industrial area of Netanya. Through Targetech, innovators are
provided the support and professional acumen necessary in order
to develop into viable profitable business realities.
TARGETECH brings added value to it's money with the strategic
investors who have invested in Startvest(2006). In addition to
several private investors, the incubator has attracted two
valuable investor groups from North America; GAIP and ASG
Finance.
The partnership with GAIP (Greater Akron Investing Partners) is
the result of a very special relationship with the city and
business community of Akron, Ohio in the US. In addition to the
city the group is made up of 20 individual investors, and
institutional investors. With great health institutions such as
Summa Enterprise, Bioenterprise, Akron General and Children's
Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic, the area is a great asset in
the Life Sciences domain.
The other North American investor: ASG finance corp. is a
Canadian investment services firm with over US $275m in assets
being managed. ASG has the ability through its extensive network
of investors and associates, to assist qualifying companies
emerging from the incubator in raising capital and identifying
strategic partners to enable them to realize their potential.
Startvest(2006) is dedicated to the Targetech portfolio of
startups. In addition to sitting on the incubator screening
committee, the group of investors assists in networking and
making contacts for business development in North America and
will dedicate funds for investing as a follow on fund once chosen
startups have left the incubator.
The TARGETECH Innovation Center is managed by Mr. Azriel Kadim
who comes from a long history of business development. As the
director for 7 years of the Yeda Research and Development
Company, the commercial arm of the Weizman Institute, Mr. Kadim
has elevated many projects to a point of successful
commercialization.
Strategically located in center of the country, TARGETECH
provides each new initiative with the services and facilities
necessary to provide the most fertile working conditions
possible.
