ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
ON THE INCUBATOR COMPANY LEVEL: a Board of Directors composed of
5 members represents the Owners; a Management Body of 9 members;
a Project Screening Committee of 9 members; an office functioning
with a General Manager; Secretarial and Operations and Accounting
functions.
All Board and Screening Committee members have a proven record in
business, academy and industry, and represent well-known
enterprises and institutions in the Jordan Valley area.
The Incubator's main tasks include company locating, screening,
and commercializing, while supporting Incubator company
management and supervising company progress.
ON THE INCUBATOR COMPANY LEVEL: each company becomes a separate
legal entity, with its own board of directors and business
development team in which an investor is usually involved.
FINANCIAL RESOURCES
Main financial sources, for the Incubator and Incubator
companies, are provided by Stern Partners Group and the Office
of the Chief Scientist (Ministry of Industry and Trade). Other
sources are Investors (for the projects) and the Partnership 2000
program of The Jewish Agency.
INFRASTRUCTURE
The Incubator and Incubator companies operate in a 600 square
meter (6,000 square foot) rented building located in Zemach. The
Incubator draws upon assistance from skilled professionals in
different areas of technology, engineering and science, as well
as in administrative and technical services, from recognized
enterprises and institutions.
COOPERATION REQUIRED
* Capital investments for the R&D needs of the start-up Incubator
companies and for their commercialization.
* Strategic cooperation for the Incubator companies in production
and marketing.
