YOZMOT was founded in June 92 by 10 entrepreneurs - scientists
and economists, members of some of the 42 kibbutzim belonging to
GRANOT - Regional Cooperate Organization.
The founders form the Board of Directors of YOZMOT. The Chairman
of the Board is the General Director of GRANOT.
MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE
In August 92 YOZMOT founded a project management company - GRANOT
INITIATIVE CENTER, directed by a committee of 7 members, headed
by the Managing Director.
FINANCIAL STRUCTURE
Projects belonging to YOZMOT are financed mainly by the Office of
the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and by
investments of sponsors having business interest in particular
projects.
YOZMOT is partially supported by GRANOT.
PRESENT FACILITIES / SERVICES
Fifteen laboratories equipped with all necessary utilities for
the development of High-Tech projects in different technological
fields.
MARKETING
A full time Marketing Manager has been appointed to support
projects from the marketing point of view. Consulting, marketing
information and market research services are offered.
Administrative, legal, accounting and other services are also
available.
COOPERATION REQUIRED
YOZMOT is looking for an investment which will be dedicated to:
- Strengthening the incubator's infrastructure for the absorption
of additional scientists, new immigrants, for the development of
new innovative High-Tech projects;
- Strategic partnership and investments, for further development
and commercialization of the projects.
PREFERRED AREAS OF ACTIVITY
Since its establishment Yozmot has nurtured projects in a wide
range of technological areas.
The close relationship with Granot, with its wide range of
industrial activities, advocates a wide range strategy rather
than a focused one. High-Tech projects in technological fields
like: Electronics, Chemistry, Optics, Mechanical Engineering,
Biotechnology, Medical Instruments and Rehabilitation have been
under development since 1992.
