Ms. Anat Segal
XENIA VENTURE CAPITAL, a publicly traded company on the Tel Aviv
Stock Exchange, is an investment firm operating a technological
incubator engaged in the initiation, build-up and packaging of
high-technology start up companies in Israel, in the fields of
Information Technology and Medical Devices.
XENIA operates as a Privatized Technological Incubator under the
program of privatized incubators of the Ministry of Industry and
Trade of the State of Israel.
XENIA has built a strong team of entrepreneurs, who have come
together to create a technological incubation powerhouse. The
partners, investors and advisors who have taken part in XENIA are
a group of star entrepreneurs, with combined exits of over three
billion dollars, who, together, accumulate a critical mass of
experience, network and knowledge.
In addition to financing, XENIA provides it's companies with
top-notch mentoring, business and strategic counseling, fund
raising assistance and exit planning, as well as essential
infrastructure and peripheral services (accounting, legal, office
support, and more), enabling entrepreneurs to operate
cost-efficiently and to concentrate on advancement of their young
venture.
Since inception in mid 2003, XENIA VENTURE CAPITAL has invested
in fourteen companies which, in a short period of time, have
demonstrated significant appreciation in value. All of 8
portfolio companies that graduated the incubator have
successfully raised funds, and achieved
technology, business and managerial milestones, as well as proven
leap-frog valuation increases. XENIA portfolio companies have
executed follow-on rounds during incubation period from a wide
variety of investors from Israel and abroad.
In addition, XENIA has developed excellent deal flow sourcing,
selection and execution capabilities, established cooperation
relationships with the entrepreneur community as well as with
venture capital and high-tech companies in Israel, Europe and the
US, and is positioned as the leading incubator in Israel.
MANAGEMENT
TEAM
Ms. Anat Segal - CEO, over 17 years of experience in various
corporate finance, investment and managerial areas with strong
focus on high technology. Ms. Segal is part of Xenia Venture
Capital founding team and served as Managing Partner since
inception.
Mr. Eli Sorzon - Chief Financing Officer, is a CPA and bachelor
of business, Mr. Sorzon has an experience of 9 years in leading
accounting firms, and was specialized on public Hi Tech
companies.
Mr. Guy Atzmon - VP Business Development, accumulating 15 years
as a commander in the IAF, in the air defense artillery corps..
Mr. Atzmon was admitted to practice law in Israel in 2004 after
an apprenticeship at a leading Israeli law firm, Naschitz Brandes
& Co.
Dr. Assaf Dekel - Life Science Advisory & Business Development,
experienced in the medical device industry. A practicing
orthopedic surgeon; with extensive knowledge in many fields of
the medical profession and one of the founders of Neatstitch
Ltd., a medical device company developing unique suturing
technologies and one of Xenia's portfolio companies.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mr. Avishay Noam, Chairman - seasoned entrepreneur, with over 20
years of experience in senior R&D and management positions. In
1988 Mr. Noam founded and served as CEO of Novacom Technologies,
a fab-less semiconductor company. In 1998 Mr. Noam founded
Novanet which was sold to Connexant Systems for $145 million in
2000;

traded in TASE), a leading international communications and
security Infrastructure Company;
Mr. Avi Lior - Co-founder Syneron Medical (NASDAQ: ELOS), Medical
Device marketing expert. Invested in Xenia in Neatstitch and in
BioProtect, two Xenia portfolio companies;
Mr. Eran Bendoly - Formerly Director of Finance, EMEA MindSpeed
Technologies (NASDAQ: MSPD) and Founding Partner in Xenia Venture
Capital;

projects during their incubation period, XENIA has formed an
active Advisory Board composed of renowned leading industry and
business experts with extensive experience in the building and
development of successful high-tech companies:
