MISSION
PATIR is dedicated to nurturing early seed stage companies,
growing them from inception, to maturity and establishing
thriving businesses through dedication, support, and personal
guidance.

FOUNDERS AND SPONSORS
PATIR R&D was founded in 1991 as a Limited Liability Company,
sponsored by the Office of the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of
Industry and Trade and affiliated with "Machon Lev" - Jerusalem
College of Technology (JCT). JC Technologies is the commercial
arm of JCT and supports PATIR with management services.

JCT is a fully accredited college of engineering, as recognized
by Israel's Council of Higher Education. Founded in 1969, its
objective continues to be the education of engineers for Israel's
rapidly advancing high tech industry while integrating Jewish
values. The College provides a university level education through
its high tech program leading to a Bachelor's degree, concurrent
with an intensive program in Judaic studies. Preparing for the
future through this synthesis of Technology and Judaic studies
has earned the College a unique position among engineering
schools worldwide.

MANAGEMENT
PATIR's management consists of a five member Board of Directors;
a project screening committee composed of professionals from
industry, academia, and business; and a Managing Director who is
in charge of locating, supervising and providing business
development to the projects.

Each project is set up as a separate company with its own Board
of Directors and business development team.

MODE OF OPERATION
PATIR provides a diverse portfolio of services throughout the
lifetime of the projects with the aim of turning innovative
projects into profitable Israeli companies.
