PROJECT SUMMARY
COROMEDIC develops a set of tools to enable minimal invasive
coronary surgery. Minimal invasive surgery, without the need for
sternotomy, will improve patient's recovery after surgery.
COROMEDIC's first focus will be an automatic Mammary Artery
Harvester designed to take down the Mammary Artery from the chest
wall as a conduit for bypass. The Harvester will shorten the
harvest time significantly. Moreover, by its design it will be
able to prevent damages to the artery and to the blood flow
inside it, caused by the current harvesting tools.

ADVANTAGES
The set of tools is expected to enable minimal invasive Coronary
Surgery. Minimal invasive surgery, without the need for

special Mammary Harvester will shorten the harvest time
significantly and will be able to prevent damages to the artery
