PROJECT SUMMARY
NERVOMATRIX is developing an innovative non-invasive medical
device for the treatment of pain disabilities, including lower
back pain and neck pain. The device has the combined action of
mapping peripheral nerve ends responsible for pain relief,
presenting them to medical professionals superimposed on a map of
known anatomical references and providing transcutaneous
localized and modulated electric therapy for simulating the
mapped nerve ends. The modulated electric therapy is based on the
principles of the well recognized TENS (Transcutaneous Electric
Nerve Stimulation) application.

ADVANTAGES
The Nervomatrix technology has three key advantages over existing
products:
* Provides a technology for the fast, systematic and efficient
mapping and identification of peripheral nerve ends avoiding the
need of healthcare professionals to subjectively locate such
nerves.
* Improves the efficacy of pain treatment by delivering localized
electric stimulation to the mapped peripheral nerves related to
pain relief.
* Provides an innovative and user-friendly pain treatment device
for professionals (physical therapists, family physicians and
pain physicians) who have limited solutions available in applying
