PROJECT SUMMARY
OPTIWAY develops patented Optical Time Division Multiplexing by
Locking Lasers, a new optical multiplexing method, which combines
multiple optical data streams in a single optical path. The
method permits transmission of several different analog and
digital signals by a single optical path.
The bottleneck of all multiplexing methods is the limit of the
electronic components. DWDM technology provides better bypass
solutions, but the problem of the limit still remains unsolved.
In order to meet customer demands, service operators need to do
more than simply increase infrastructure capacity and efficiency.
OPTIWAYy's technology can be used either as an alternative or as
a complement to the DWDM optical transfer technology, which is
widely used today. By including OPTIWAY's components in their
turnkey solutions, communication integrators can provide more
capacity, quality and efficiency. Utilizing currently available
optical devices, the innovative technology behind OPTIWAY
improves existing communication platforms by sharing optical
infrastructure and increasing FO capacity.

where and when necessary, a longitudinally optical infrastructure
