PROJECT SUMMARY
The problem of manual labor is well known throughout the entire
modern agricultural community. The raise of wages on one hand and
the harsh competition from less modern countries on the other
hand, put entire modern agricultural sectors in jeopardy. To
overcome this obstacle, growers around the world, are desperately
looking for new ways to improve the efficiency of workers. One
such way is by providing mechanical solutions that can transform
the work of one man into dozens or more.

The Digital Shaker project focuses on the olives sector which can
be translated into US $2.8 Billion machinery industry.
Most of the harvesting in the olive field today is done by shaker
harvesting and by manual labor. The low Mechanical solutions'
efficiency dictates the needs for supplementary manual labor.
Today's farmers have to pay up to 60% of the yield value to the
pickers. Needless to say, this puts the modern farmer at a great
disadvantage.

The Digital Shaker project will eliminate the need for
supplementary manual labor and will enable full mechanization of
the harvesting process as is the case in similar sectors.
