Project title: LASER BIOPHYSICS TECHNOLOGY FOR PAIN TREATMENT
Company name : MEDDYNAMICS
TECHNOLOGICAL FIELD
Laser Therapy, Medical device,
Neurology
KEY WORDS
Laser Therapy, Relief of
Pain, Neural Stimulation
PROJECT SUMMARY
MedDynamics is committed to develop an innovative,
non-pharmaceutical solutions to pain problems. Its first
product, a device based on laser technology provides precise
specified control in neural stimulation of peripheral nerves at
trigger points. The technology permits for the first time
replacing drug treatments for pain conditions with a new pain
therapy device together with accurate neural stimulation
protocols.
Current pain medications market is US $34B a year. However, for
many debilitating pain problems modern medicine have failed to
offer cures other than drugs or complicated surgery that often
have limited effect. In many cases the drugs do not solve the
problem and have proven to be toxic.
The MedDynamics solution uses quantitative protocols and accurate
therapy methods that will have a tremendous impact on the
emerging clinical discipline for pain therapy. It will open the
way for replacing drug treatment for most common pain problem
with effective, safe and easy-to-apply therapy.
