PROJECT SUMMARY
The project aims to develop a new enabling video compression
technology for next-generation streaming video applications.
Leveraging unique expertise in mathematics and computer science,
Numeri's technology will significantly outperform the MPEG4 in
quality vs. size ratio and will provide for scalable video
compression capabilities, consuming minimum processing and memory
resources.

The unique advantages of Numeri's new video compression algorithm
will make it an ideal technology for streaming HD video over
limited bandwidth IP networks (wired or wireless) as well as for
streaming low resolution video over 3G / Cellular networks. High
compression ratio and significant saving in storage space will
make it ideal also for surveillance applications in the Homeland
Security market.
