PROJECT SUMMARY
SCI-TEL LTD. has developed a system, based on a patented device
that serves as a communication infrastructure for accessing a
smart card through the telephone.
The device, Tele-sign, allows for telephone interactions with the
smart card during standard telephone calls.

Innovation:
a) Interaction with smart card during a telephone call, with
minimum interruption.
b) Solution for the Card Not Present (CNP) problem for Telephone
Orders.
c) Solution for the identification and authentication during
telephone calls.
d) Personalization of landline telephones.

ENTREPRENEURS
Dr. Dror Zernik - Ph.D. in
Computer Science from the Hebrew University. Over 15 years of
experience in leading software and hardware projects in
distributed and Internet-based environments. Co-founder, CEO and
R&D Manager of Siftology Inc.
Mr. Alon Bear - B.Sc in
Industrial Engineering. Co-founder and manager of Pitron Systems
Ltd. - an IT solution provider and system integration house. Led
many projects including strategic consulting, information system
design and development, and IT solution implementation.

PROJECT STATUS
The project was launched in the incubator on May 2003.
Two patents were filed for PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) on a
worldwide basis. A working prototype has been developed, and
first orders are in place.
As of April 2004, the product is in installation stage with
customers.
