PROJECT SUMMARY
The company is developing new dietary supplements, cosmetics and
pharmaceutical products from edible mushrooms.

ADVANTAGES:
* Novel highly efficient and inexpensive biotechnological
processes of growing pure cultures of Higher Basidiomycetes
mushrooms at controlled conditions on surface and especially in
submerged culture.
* Use of strains of certain mushroom species that have been not
yet used in the nutraceutical and pharma industries.
* Waste of agricultural and food industries is used as media for
strains growing.

ENTREPRENEUR
Prof. Solomon Wasser - D.Sc. in Biology, specialist in
mycology. Founder and Editor in Chief of the "International
Journal of Medicinal Mushrooms", the only journal on the topic.

PROJECT STATUS
The project was launched on January 1999. It has finished
incubator period and operates independently.
Cholesterol-lowering and anti-diabetic immuno-modulative dietary
supplements are ready for semi-industrial trials. Two series of
pre-clinical tests are performed. Four patents are filed in USA.

R&D COOPERATION: Scientific cooperation with prominent
scientists in USA, Japan, Singapore, the Netherlands, Ukraine and
other countries. Support from the Singapore-Israel R&D
Foundation.
