PROJECT SUMMARY
MultiQTL has the capability of locating the genes as well as
identifying their functions while
the other human, animal and plant genome projects are capable of
locating them only.

In the quest for the functionality of the genes, MultiQTL is the
only software that can do multiple trait analysis. This feature
makes it the best software for finding the genes of quantitative
traits - the economically important genes.
MultiQTL is a user-friendly software for locating genes and their
functionality. It provides a broad spectrum of analytical and
modeling tools for QTL analysis. It includes tools to facilitate
the application of new methods for multi-locus, multi-trait and
multi-environment QTL mapping of many inbred and outbred
populations, with unprecedented flexibility.

PROJECT STATUS
The project was launched on July 1998, and is now has finished
its second year in the technological incubator. A request for a
patent was filed in the U.S.A. A Beta release version of the
software was released on the company's Internet site
www.multiqtl.com for downloading.
A market research survey that was conducted showed very big
enthusiasm and interest in the product.
