PROJECT SUMMARY
An innovative, microspheres-based method for stimulation of wound
healing and tissue regeneration processes has been developed.
ADVANTAGES
Preliminary clinical evaluation of Polyheal's first product
clearly exhibits stimulating, regenerative and possibly
anti-inflammatory and anesthetic effects.
Polyheal's product shows unusual efficiency and great potential
capabilities in treatment of such severe problems as:
* chronic ulcers of different origins - diabetic, varicose veins,
and after stroke ulcer
* large scale second/third degree burns, sunburns
* acne.
Among the advantages witnessed in the preliminary testing - a
twofold decrease of the healing period for burn wounds as well as
a significant reduction of pain.
TARGET MARKET
The main customers of Polyheal products:
Departments of plastic surgery, surgery, gynecology, burns,
geriatric, cosmetic industry.

PROJECT STATUS
The project started in 1996. Since July 1998 the company operates
independently with private investment and the support of the
Chief Scientist Office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Second round of clinical tests is currently conducted, authorized
by the Ministry of Health of Israel.
