PROJECT SUMMARY
Current bone Regeneration procedures are technically difficult,
traumatic to the patient and suffer from a low rate of success.
Therefore, there is a need for advanced methods for bone
augmentation in dental implantology, orthopedics and plastic
surgery.

Procedures and small devices are being developed by RegeneEx to
facilitate bone regeneration and to solve the problem of the
missing bone in humans. The procedures are minimally invasive and
the devices are based on materials that are currently used in
humans with FDA approvals.

The ADVANTAGES of this approach are:
* RegeneEx's products make bone regeneration an easy, time saving
treatment with high rate of success.
* RegeneEx's novel disposable devices allow simultaneous
regeneration of the bone and the soft tissue surrounding the
bone, in a minimally invasive manner.
* RegeneEx's technology simplifies procedures and minimizes
complications, such as sinus lift.

The novel proprietary technology can be applied to both soft and
hard tissue. The company is focusing at this stage on bone
regeneration. The application is in orthopedic surgery as well as
plastic surgery, maxillofacial surgery and dental implantology.

MARKET
The worldwide potential market for RegeneEx's products in the
orthopedic field is over US $1 billion per year. An example of
the implementations of RegeneEx' technology is treatment and
prevention of pathologic fractures. There are more than a million
of such fractures per year in the US, most of them resulting from
osteoporosis. The market is rapidly growing as the population
gets older.
The dentistry and maxillofacial markets are estimated at US $600
million per year. RegeneEx's products can enlarge the market by
regenerating bone vertically in the jaws to allow the insertion
of dental implants. The market of bone regeneration in dentistry
is projected to be growing with a compound annual growth rate of
18.6%.

ENTREPRENEURS
Dr. Benny Karmon - D.M, Company Founder, is practicing
and lecturing in professional courses in the field of dental
implants and guided bone regeneration procedures.
Mr. Haim Danon - CEO, M.Sc. in Engineering, MBA,
wide experience in full life cycle of products.

PROJECT STATUS
The company is in its first year of the incubator period.
A basic prototype has been developed and clinical trials will
start in Q4 2002. Further development and clinical trials will be
performed during 2003. RegeneEx's first line of products is
expected to be submitted for FDA/CE approval in 2003 and to
become commercial by the beginning of 2004.
An application for U.S. patent was filed. It is a generic patent
for regeneration and can be implemented for other tissues and
organs.

COOPERATION REQUIRED
The company is seeking industrial and marketing cooperation, as
well as initial investments of US $200,000 - $500,000.
