PROJECT SUMMARY
CONCRETEC LTD. develops a lightweight, small-size and affordable
tool for quick measuring of water/cement ratio, consistency and
strength of fresh or hardened (dry) concrete. The device can be
used throughout the cement production process (from factory to
construction site) and unlike existing technology, with which
results are obtained only after several days, is capable of
returning results within minutes. The technology is based on the
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) effect, which is currently
utilized in various medical and industrial fields.

MARKET
Company strategy is to penetrate four primary sections of the
overall market: cement manufacturers (1.5 billion tons shipped
annually worldwide); concrete manufacturers (some 33,000
factories worldwide); contractors and construction companies; and
testing and standards institutes.

ENTREPRENEUR
Dr. Boris Vilge - Ph.D. in
Physics, the Company's Chief Scientist, conducted the development
of NMR spectrometer for various other applications and provided
algorithm and software support, over 40 articles and 20 patents.

PROJECT STATUS
The company is in its second year of the incubator period.
The Company has conducted comprehensive relevancy, reliability
and accuracy tests on a statistically significant number of
samples. Positive results have been received and an operational
prototype is expected during the year 2001.

COOPERATION REQUIRED
The Company is currently seeking industrial and technological
cooperation, as well as initial investments of US $300,000 -
$800,000.
