PROJECT SUMMARY
FlexSIS Ltd. is developing a posterior flexible spine
stabilization implant.

The proposed system - an implant for the posterior flexible spine
stabilization, which is designed to support or substitute a part
of the patient's spine while preserving all natural movements of
the spinal column without changing the load pattern on the
adjacent vertebrae. The proposed system is designed for the
posterior disc replacement and should imitate the natural
mobility and the load transfer mechanism observed in a healthy
spine.
The uniqueness of the system is, that the system posses the
viscoelastic properties - like a natural disc has, which allows
to preserve the motion of natural spine, while adjusting its
mechanical properties for patient's body during a defined time
after surgery, with controllable movements around or along
different axes.

PROJECT STATUS
The Company was founded on June 2006. FlexSIS has raised
supplementary investment from MEYTAV. The company has recently
developed a first prototype of the implant and plans a
pre-clinical experiment in March, 2007. Filed Provisional US
Patent Applications in Nov, 2006

COOPERATION REQUIRED
The company is seeking a partnership with a strategic investor,
who will provide the funds and expertise to continue the
regulation process.
