ELUTEX's patented and proprietary electrocoating process is
utilized in coating implantable, metallic medical devices. The
company is positioned to capitalize on the growing trend toward
drug/device combination products and seeks to offer biocompatible
and drug-eluting nanocoatings unto metallic medical devices such
as cardiovascular stents and orthopedic implants.
ELUTEX will initially capitalize on the overwhelming acceptance
of Drug Eluting Stents (DES) within the area of interventional
cardiology. Total U.S. DES market is projected to grow from
almost US $2.6 billion in 2004 to nearly US $6 billion in 2008.

Prototype development of Taxol coated stents of less then 2
