PROJECT SUMMARY
SteadyMed is an early-stage developer of drug-delivery devices
for injectable therapeutic drugs for pain-relief, diabetes and
other chronic conditions. The company's drug-delivery technology
- SteadyFlow - is a stable, precise and inexpensive technology
capable of providing a range of basal rates and boluses for drug
delivery. This technology can power various novel categories of
drug-delivery devices, including patches, other disposable
devices, and implantable modules. SteadyMed's products will be
novel smart-packages, which deliver the drugs "packaged" within.
The company's core competences include its proprietary
technological platform, together with R&D expertise based upon
its scientific and engineering team. SteadyMed is currently
focused on commercialization of its proprietary technology.

Mr. Gidi Kahana - an experienced
company manager, responsible for business strategy and overall
management of the Profile Group;
Mr. Amir Genosar - a
multi-disciplinary engineer with extensive experience in medical
devices;
Mr. Ian Solomon - a serial
entrepreneur with experience in the smart-packaging field.

PROJECT STATUS
The project started its incubator period in 2005. The company
will work together with leading international drug and medical
device companies to jointly focus on the "lead" products to
employ the SteadyFlow technology. SteadyMed anticipates that the
initial products will focus on pain-management smart patch-type
products capable of delivering injectable drugs at a controllable
steady rate, with on-demand boluses as required by the patient.
The company has two patents covering its core electrochemical
technology in the PCT and national phases and a 3rd patent under
preparation.

COOPERATION REQUIRED
The Company is looking for a strategic partnership with
pharmaceutical companies and device vendors, in order to
co-produce and market the company's products.
