PROJECT SUMMARY
Company's mission is to enhance the implementation of AutoID &
Positioning solutions and enable customers to:

Barcode technology was introduced in the 50's and will probably
be around for many years, though its market may decrease due to
new developments in the AutoID market. Barcode technology
demonstrates poor reading performance in reference to object
distance and fast motion and it doesn't have object location
capabilities.
The known AutoID contender, RFID, is still in the development
phase and still could not find the "killer application" due to
its high cost. Being an RF based technology, it suffers from
typical disadvantages such as cross talk and poor location
accuracy, which result in moderate reliability.
Ray Code's Indoor Positioning System (IPS) is an add-on system
for CCTV legacy systems (CCTV camera installations). RayCode's
IPS upgrades standard CCTV installations to achieve better
functionality including automatic identification and positioning
of assets as well as theft control and general security of indoor
areas.
