PROJECT SUMMARY
TheraCoat's breakthrough proprietary products utilize several
currently available commercial technologies as well as commonly
used drugs for a unique mode of application - currently available
drugs for the treatment of bladder cancer are applied in a
biodegradable `sticky' polymer, in order to `pave' the bladder
with it. The formulated Polymer/Gel allows a continuous treatment
by slowly releasing the chemotherapy drugs, thus replacing multi
session procedures needed today to administer the necessary
chemotherapy. The polymer will later be retrieved from the
bladder due to the biodegradation process.
ADVANTAGES
The new method is expected to improve clinical success rate,
reduce morbidity and reduce side effects. It is expected,
therefore, that more doctors will opt to give their patient this
line of treatment, rather than choosing surgical procedures.

The project has started its incubator period in 2004. First
