PROJECT SUMMARY
The proposed system, based on experience gained during field
testing at steel production facilities in the Ukraine and on
extensive testing in Israel, is intended for use in steel
manufacturing on either Converter or Electric Arc furnaces. The
system is based on modern Aero-Acoustic technology and provides
up to the minute, real-time information on furnace temperature,
carbon content percentages, fluid phase behavior and furnace
cavity conditions.

ENTREPRENEUR
Dr. Oleg Shlik - Ph.D. Metallurgy,
inventor, expert on Aero-Acoustic Technologies, Mathematics and
Physics.

PROJECT STATUS
The project began operating February 1, 1997. The incubator
period is over.
A prototype of the system has been developed and successfully
tested in several steel furnaces in differet countries. First
installations have been executed in Nippon Steel - Japan and
additional installation are expected in the US.
