PROJECT SUMMARY
LEVGUM LTD. has developed a new rubber devulcanization process
which is cost-effective and environmentally safe and clean. It is
the only devulcanization process in which the price of one ton of
non-subsidized, recycled rubber is significantly less expensive
than one ton of virgin rubber.
LEVGUM's patent-pending technology is based on using a harmless
chemical modifier, which may be characterized as a "prolonged
chemical knife reaction." Due to this feature, the main
advantage of LEVGUM's process is its capability to treat the
vulcanized rubber waste in the form of pieces or particles.
LEVGUM's technology for reclaiming waste rubber and process of
reclaimed materials into rubber particles is not accompanied by
any pollutants and is environmentlly safe. LEVGUM's technology
can have a revolutionary impact on industrialized nations all
over the world who are trying to find solutions for the growing
problem of discarded tires, overflowing dump sites and illegal
landfills.

Dr. Yony Weiss - CEO, Engineer and former
director of R&D for Negev Chemicals. Experience in bringing new
technologies to market.
Dr. Lev Beirakh - Chief Scientist, vast
experience in chemistry, technology and production methods of
recycled rubber products in the Russian market.

PROJECT STATUS
The project has completed its incubator period.
Samples and prototypes for the reagent, devulcanized rubber and
granules have been successfully developed and tested. Licencing
rights for the modifier are available.
