Project title: TECHNOLOGY FOR NATURAL GAS STORAGE
Company name : ANGSTORE TECHNOLOGIES LTD.
LTD.
TECHNOLOGICAL FIELD
Natural Gas Vehicles, Alternative
Fuel Vehicles, Natural gas handling
KEY WORDS
Low-Pressure Storage,
Adsorption, NGV
PROJECT SUMMARY
The target of the project is to develop a unique patentable
technology for natural gas storage by the method of Adsorbed
Natural Gas (ANG). According to this method gas storage tanks are
filled with an adsorbent material, which operates as a sponge to
adsorb natural gas at relatively low pressure and normal
temperature. The system also allows for controlled release of the
stored gas.
ADVANTAGES
* Safe
* Cost effective
* Operates in normal temperature ranges
* Low pressure
* Low-cost raw material
* Fills an existing need
* User friendly
APPLICATIONS
AND TARGET MARKETS
The technology is designed for on-board fuel tanks of motor
vehicles, for vessels and cisterns of local gas distribution
networks, for gas bulk transportation by trucks, ships, railway,
etc.
