PROJECT SUMMARY
SMM PULSE SYSTEMS LTD. is developing a novel system for
delivering electricity to electric motors, which substantially
enhances their performance without increasing electricity
consumption. SMM is developing the technology for two
applications: for AC motors and for DC motors.
For AC motors, the SMM device eliminates the shock, which results
when starting the motor and the drive system, by modifying the
electrical flow. The shock-less start extends the motor and drive
system's lifespan. The SMM device for AC motors also reduces
electricity consumption and costs.
For DC motors, the SMM device alters the electrical current to
increase the power of the motor by up to 150% without increasing
energy consumption. This technology, known as `Shock Pulse
Energizing', alters the conventional energizing of the motor by
delivering coordinated shock pulses. As a result, electricity
costs are significantly reduced and power-weight ratios are
improved, thereby increasing cost-efficiency.

car industry can greatly benefit from SMM's technology because of
the industry's need for improvements in power-weight ratio.
