PROJECT SUMMARY
Prefabrication of dental crowns for primary dentition and
permanent young molars.
By using a highly versatile engineering plastic material,
featuring properties that are similar to metals and other
plastics, the company will prefabricate aesthetically pleasing
durable dental crowns, to exchange the stainlees steel crowns
used today, and which contain nickel, a proved allergenic.

* For patients with high caries susceptibility.
* For patients where breakdown of intracoronals is likely.
The target market is pediatric and general dental clinics all
over the world.

Laboratory analyses of the material have been performed by ACTA's
laboratories in The Netherlands with promising and positive
results. The project has registered a US patent, and a PCT has
been filed for major countries worldwide. The first mold for
injected acetal crowns are ready. The company is negotiating with
two of the major dental companies in the world.
