PROJECT SUMMARY
A simple to use kit enables rapid detection of residues of
antibiotics and toxins (such as disinfecting materials) in milk,
meat and various other food products. The kit will serve farms,
dairy farms and the food industry. In the future the system may
also be adapted for identification of environmental pollutants.
The system is based on a biochemical reaction that is sensitive
to antibiotics, and also to many toxins. The system does not
require special equipment, skills, nor identification tools. It
is intended for use in any place. The test results are indicated
by change in color on the back of the special paper incorporated
in the testing system. The kit is highly sensitive and complies
with food regulations.
APPLICATIONS
The T-Alert kit satisfies the worldwide demand for rapid and
reliable quality control systems essential, especially, in the
dairy industry. For farms, agriculture, food industry and
domestic use.
