PROJECT SUMMARY
FIREYS has developed a revolutionary fire/overheat linear
detector called also cable detector. The detector comprises of a
flexible metal wire attached to an electronic controller.
The metal wire is installed into the protected area and the
controller is connected to a normal fire panel or to the
intrusion alarm panel. This detector is designed for applications
that have no solutions technically or economically, rather than
replacing ordinary detectors.
The detector will respond immediately in case of direct flames or
heat generated around it.

Scientifically, the product is based on fundamental principles of
thermodynamics, heat transfer, and electro-mechanics. The
combination of the electronics, mechanics and computer oriented
fire/excessive heat algorithms, result in a unique rate of
temperature rise technology detector with an excellent price to
performance ratio. The detector is fully electronic, allowing for
built in sensitivity switching that does not require any special
tools or skills to adjust. The resulting wide range of
sensitivity increases the possibilities for the application of
the system to include residential, commercial, industrial,
military, and aerospace.

The new technology is a unique combination of thermodynamics and
electronic circuits that allows tailored system for many
applications. Petro-chemical industry, alternative fuel vehicles,
armored vehicles, aviation, electrical cabinets, engine rooms

heritage buildings (conservation).

PROJECT STATUS
FIRESYS LTD. was established at the beginning of 1999 and is
installing LHD (linear heat detection) systems in various
European countries. FIRESYS is manufacturing and selling
integrated systems with Lehavot-Firesys for military vehicles.

COOPERATION REQUIRED
FIRESYS is seeking to cooperate with an American strategic
partner who will participate both actively and financially in the
development, marketing and distribution of its Linear Fire/
Overheat Detection System.
