PROJECT SUMMARY
Fractures of the femur neck have always posed a significant
challenge to orthopedic surgeons and remain in many ways the
"unsolved fracture" as far as current methods of treatment and
the results obtained are concerned.
The standard orthopedic procedure used today to repair fractures
of the femur neck frequently results in excessive wear of the
joint, pain and decreased mobility, bringing substantial numbers
of patients for revision surgery. Despite the great need, there
is currently no good solution for this common and widespread
injury.

PreSRV is developing a novel hip implant improving patients'
quality of life thanks to significantly reduced chronic pain,
minimizing the numbers of revision surgery and increasing
patients comfort and long-term rehabilitation.
