PROJECT SUMMARY
VCortex develops an innovative vision system, for high speed
automated process control.
First product solves major problems of the largest printing
market segment:
* Significant shortening of printing job set-up time
* Stabilizing colors during printing (done today manually)

The system structure is based on a proprietary architecture,
which differs substantially from existing solutions in the
market, and thus provides a new approach that can solve known and
acute problems in the industrial process control domain. There is
a huge market waiting for the solution provided by this newly
presented concept. The development combines extensive s/w and
vision algorithms, as well as system engineering and integration.

ENTREPRENEURS
Mr. Asa Ziv - Founder and
President, more than 30 years of management and engineering
experience in the printing, electro optical and aviation hi-tech
industries.
Mr. Zeev Mairav - CEO, more than 20
years of hi-tech product development and R&D management
experience in multidiscipline development of Machine Vision and
control systems.

PROJECT STATUS
VCortex LTD. established in February 2005, entered the Incubator
in January 2006.
Current status:
* First prototype of the Color Control system is completed.
* VCortex is in cooperation with the major press manufacturers
towards achieving mutual objectives, including joint appearance
in the next Drupa show (biggest trade show of the printing
industry).
* A PCT patent has been submitted for the unique design and use
of an innovative sensor unit for the purpose of color density
measurement and control of a color printing press.
