PROJECT SUMMARY
Arcos new micro cable Head End SoC based platform. A cost
efficient multi channel encoder to QAM RF signal used for
insertion of hyper local channels in closed community markets. It
allows operators to meet basic contractual obligations while
supporting their digital rollout by converting existing analog
local insertion channels to digital.

Arcos develops an innovative and high density multimedia
streaming solution based on a System on Chip (SoC) to be complied
with the Cable/Satellite broadcasting standards (ITU J.83 Annex
A,B,C and DVB-S). The designed transmission platform enables an
optimal size for minimal logic elements and keeps the parts count
in the solution to a minimum. Using a unique doctrine of
consolidated multi sources and functions Arcos system will allow
a unique and efficient means of signal processing for various
streaming applications.

ENTREPRENEURS
Mr. Avi Eliyahu - Experience in
R&D, and in Interactive TV field.
Mr. Yariv Reches - BSc. IT &
Management, experience in developing and managing companies, in
operations and in ITS management.
Mr. Gil Shavit - BSc.
Electronics & computers, specialized in real time development,
analogue and digital studio broadcasting systems, experience in
R&D, business development and strategic product positioning and
marketing.
Mr. Yossi Korakin - Specialized in
real time digital video broadcasting systems, well experienced in
R&D, business development, strategic network creation and
marketing of technological solutions.

PROJECT STATUS
Completed developing the MDU streamer, an alpha product for
Digital Cable networks and should start a tests with North
American TV service provider.
In midst of advanced cooperation process with other companies
from the field of digital cable.

The company signed several MOUs for sales to customers in North
America and secured a business development agreement with Rotal,
a cable equipment company (subsidiary of C. Mer, a communications
infrastructure company traded on TASE) which has also led a
financing round in the company after maturing the incubator in
2006. Following the round the company has appointed Mr. Shai Hass
as a director.

COOPERATION REQUIRED
ARCOS is looking for additional strategic partners in the field
of digital cable solutions.
