PROJECT SUMMARY
BandWD offers Network Operators the tools to profit from the
growth in Internet traffic - instead of being engulfed by it.
BandWD's dynamic resource control solution enables Network
Operators to:
* Quickly accommodate traffic growth, with low capex and opex;
* Profit from new Internet phenomena, like Peer-to-Peer and
Social Networking;
* Launch new bandwidth-hungry, quality-sensitive services, like
IPTV.

BandWD's solutions enable Network Operators to provide the right
quality to each customer and service - in accordance with the
Operator's policy and specific Service Level Agreements - despite
traffic overload.
BandWD's BWPRM policy manager & dynamic resource control
platform optimizes network usage, enabling guaranteed performance
for Triple Play services, including video on demand, video
conferencing, IPTV, games on demand and other services, initiated
by subscribers or by the service provider for the service
duration.

BandWD has created a solution that enables to guarantee
performance dynamically on existing and new network
infrastructures without the need for heavy investments. Service
providers are enabled to provide high performance on a dynamic
basis initiated by the subscriber or by service provider for the
required duration of the specific service according to specific
service and user policies that may be created and modified by the
service providers.

The market need is compelling. The Yankee group projects the
policy management market to grow significantly over the next four
years, eclipsing US $700 Million by 2010.

BwPRM is a predictive policy-based management system and
admission control for dynamic resources (bandwidth) and quality
of service provisioning.
BwPRM is a vendor independent Carrier-grade software platform
that may be deployed in current and next generation networks,
Wireline and wireless, allowing operators to provision and
support an array of quality broadband services without bearing
the associated hardware expenses.
The Carrier-grade product is easily integrated into the service
provider core, and interacts with relevant network resource
controller systems such as CMTS for cable operators, BRAS for
ADSL Operators , and network DPI's/traffic shaping equipment.

BandWD fulfills the concept and the functional requirements of
the leading standard bodies such as: IMS and ETSI Tispan
standards and includes many unique advantages. BandWD advanced
algorithms and flexible architecture enable the network operator
to manage and control policy management and admission control
while optimizing the network usage. The flexibility of our
