PROJECT SUMMARY
BEYOND Technologies Ltd. is developing OPTINUM - a revolutionary
currency counter based entirely on optics and electronics, which
eliminates the need for flipping the bills by mechanical means.
The counting is performed by capturing a digital image of the
side of a stack of bills (where the edges of the bills are
visible), and analyzing the image by dedicated image-processing
software. With this unique technology it is possible to build an
inexpensive, compact and reliable device, with many advantages
over its mechanical competitors. The potential market of OPTINUM
is huge, much larger than the present currency counters market.
In addition to banknote counting, many other counting needs can
be fulfilled by company's patented technology.
