PROJECT SUMMARY
Diabetes and cardiovascular disease are serious illnesses and
among the leading cause of death in countries around the world.
Natural Compounds focuses on extracting and purifying
anti-diabetic and anti-cardiovascular disease products that are
derived from natural sources, particularly yeast cells and
plants. In an extensive series of in vitro and pre-clinical
experiments, Natural Compounds successfully demonstrated the
hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic effects on both Type I and II
diabetes. A single dose of the anti-diabetic compound decreased
glucose and lipid levels in the blood of diabetic animals.

PROJECT STATUS
The company joined the MTC in 1994 and exited in 1996 (R&D
stage). They conducted in vitro and pre-clinical experiments,
which were very successful. They have submitted a number of
patents to cover the process, composition, and medical
applications of the products.
