PROJECT SUMMARY
ROEI MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES has developed two new working elements
for resectoscope devices - a "cold cutting" (mechanically based)
blade and a unique electric loop. ROEI's devices are built on an
original concept that removes tumors by approaching them from the
side and utilizing a predetermined cutting depth. ROEI's tools
are designed to replace or complement existing resectoscopic
working elements. ROEI's device will contain at least one
disposable element, competitively priced to ensure a steady
revenue stream through repeat sales.

MARKET
Urological resectoscopes are routinely used by urologists in
hospitals and out patient clinics throughout the world. ROEI will
target these two sectors in its initial marketing campaign. The
U.S. and E.U. markets will be targeted for first penetration. The
total market potential is estimated at 25,000 working elements
and 1 million disposable blades and loops sold annually. It is
estimated that the resectoscope and associated disposables market
is currently worth US $100 million.
