PROJECT SUMMARY
The Product: Wallet size (shaped as a credit card) Dry Powder
Inhaler (DPI) with very high efficiency of administration
non-agglomerating dry powder drugs to achieve deep lung
deposition.
This product design uses an impeller whose blades brush away the
drug particles.
APPLICATIONS
The specific markets that AESPIRONICS will target first are the
non-chronic applications.

Prof. Dan Adler - Chief Scientist ,
an international expert in turbine design and an Emeritus
Professor at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, has
been the director of the Turbomachinery Laboratory at the
Technion since 1970.
Prof. Robert Sievers - Technical Advisor, an
entrepreneur in the inhaler field, and a Professor at the
University of Colorado at Boulder in the field of powders and
aerosol science, has performed research on developing improved
vaccines, anti-virals, antibiotics, and ant-inflammatory, and
PIs for their delivery.
Mr. Ian Solomon - VP Marketing and
Business Development, a serial entrepreneur in the high-tech
field, B.Sc. in Physics with Economics, Sussex University, UK; in
recent years specialized in developments in the drug-delivery /
"smart packaging" field.
Mr. Amir Genosar - Consultant, Managing
Director of Plan-A Ltd.; Mechanical Engineer with extensive
experience in the design of both medical and packaging products
as well as in plastic mold design.
Mr. Gidi Kahana - Consultant,
Managing Director of Silex Projects Ltd.; Experienced manager in
the high-tech field, with background in both the chemical and
life-science industries.
Mr. Amnon Kritzman (Kadron) - CEO, Entrepreneur, Innovator
and director of companies specializing in the fields of
Biotechnology, Biochemistry products, Medical Devices and Medical
Instrumentation. B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering and a M.Sc.
degree in Industrial Management from the Technion, Israel.
PROJECT STATUS
The Company's operation started officially on April 1st 2007
after the approval of the Israeli Chief Scientist. $500K in
start-up funding has been committed from Maayan at a pre-money
valuation of $1M. 3 patents submitted. An assembly of test rigs
already in operation with very promising results already presents
close to 100% Metered-Dose device.
COOPERATION REQUIRED
The company seeks partnerships with drug and/or device companies
in the pulmonary delivery market, for co-development projects.
