PROJECT SUMMARY
GREENOY LTD. is developing methods for the long term storage of
commercial ornamental cut flowers and foliage. This process
allows for the usage of sea shipments as a commercial method of
transportation of ornamental cut flowers and foliage around the
world.
Ornamentals are perishable products with a short shelf life and
the usual method of transportation by air is becoming
increasingly expensive.
TECHNOLOGY
The company is developing a "clever coating system" that will
protect the plants from dehydration, disease and natural
senescence.
THE MARKET
The market potential of the developed product is US$ 300 Million
per year.
There is no other known company that can provide such an
efficient system for long term preservation of ornamental cut
flowers.
