PROJECT SUMMARY
Audiodent's hearing-aid system, which is placed in the oral
cavity on natural or artificial teeth (prosthesis), is based on
the physiological principle of sound conduction through the bone.
The system consists of two elements - an external unit captures
the sound, processes it and transmits it to the intra-oral unit
which transforms it back to sound vibrations, transferred through
the teeth and palatal bone to the inner ear.

ADVANTAGES
Audiodent's revolutionary hearing-aid system, which is located in
the patient's mouth, provides top performances in a completely
invisible package, overcoming the drawbacks of today's hearing
aids - poor sound quality and problematic stigma.

PROJECT STATUS
The invention and the technology are patented (approved) in the
USA and EU.
A prototype system that validated the technology and concept was
developed and tested by patients with all types and degrees of
hearing impairment. Tests were performed by certified
audiologists and patients in Israel's top provider of hearing
aids.
The prototype system demonstrated exceptional performances - gain
of up to 70dB in all frequencies and word discrimination of 96%.
The system was defined by market experts as a "revolution in
audiology."
