PROJECT SUMMARY
The core technology developed in Bio-Sense supports advanced
monitoring and analysis of animal behavior. The research and
development activities are performed by leading industrial
experts and scientists specializing in digital signal processing,
and animal biology areas.
The core technology supports 2 major capabilities:
* Physiological sensors which measure and monitor the vital
biological signals of the animals.
* Automatic development tools which segment and analyzes
biological signals.
Bio-Sense's proprietary algorithms are taking advantage of the
extraordinary sensing capabilities which exist in the natural
world. The technologies are able to identify and alert on
pre-defined events, which can not be detected in any other way.

DogGuard innovative technology is based on advanced proprietary
algorithms that monitor the dog's barking and other sounds to
determine the state of the dog. DogGuard identifies the dog's
natural instinctive reaction to emergency events, so no
preliminary training is required. No matter what type of dog, age
or size, the algorithms distinguish whether the dog is responding
to a routine event or to an intruding stranger


THE PRODUCT
DBS is based on Bio-Sense Technologies' patent pending
algorithms. The system consists of a computer based security
system, using dogs as biosensors. The system receives audio and
other signals from the dog, performs a unique digital signal
processing analysis, and indicates the current status (routine,
suspicious activity or intrusion).

APPLICATIONS
Bio-electric alarm system for a wide range of markets. From large
sites such as military compounds and correctional facilities
through medium size sites, such as factories, ranches, and
villages, to small size site such as farms and private
households.

ADVANTAGES
* The Watchdog as a bio-sensor - Outperforms any other sensor
available today. It is alert and mobile, combining a number of
detection dimensions - visual/movement, audio, smell, and
vibration - together enabling a highly credible and reliable
response.
* Real-time, early-warning notification - Whether indicating
suspicious activity, or an actual intrusion, DBS provides an
early warning, rather than after the event response.
* Ultimately cost-effective - The system offers a dramatic
upgrade in security levels, for a fraction of the cost of other
security systems or upgrades.
* Volume Protection - DBS is the only early warning system
providing complete volume protection. This is based on the
watchdog's ability to detect suspicious activity within a radius
of tens to hundreds of meters from its location, both above and
below ground level even at noisy, dark, or harsh weather
conditions.

market, holds M.Sc. in Business Administration and B.Sc. in
animals Biology.
Mr. Eyal Zehavi - CTO &
Founder, Degrees in Computer Science and Economics, Rich
background in high technology development.
Mr. Zohar Bar-Lev - Founder,
extensive knowledge and leadership in characterization
procedures, development and integration of computer-based
products. An IAF reserve pilot, B.Sc. in economics and computers
(Tel-Aviv University).
Dr. Eli Tzirkel - DSP
Chief Scientist, Ph.D. in Information Engineering from Cambridge
University, UK. Deep experience in speech recognition
understanding and dialogue; information retrieval by voice and
product development. Patents in the speech analysis and the
recognition field.
Mrs. Irit Gazit - Canine
Behavior Expert, M.Sc., Experience in R&D of special canine
security systems, also has advanced degrees in biology and
zoology.

PROJECT STATUS
BIO-SENSE has just successfully finished its first year out of a
3 year contract in Israel for 1.5 M$ and singed a two year
agreement in Chile for the sum of 240K$.
BIO-SENSE system is installed in 4 prisons in Israel, and is
involved in an advanced stage with IDF for the installment of the
system in a military base for the first time.
BIO-SENSE has more than 100 clients and its income in 2006 is
estimated at about 1M NIS.

COOPERATION REQUIRED
BIO-SENSE is seeking to raise $2M in order to fund international
marketing and sales efforts, and for the development of the DBS
collar.
