PROJECT SUMMARY
PURE FIRE TECHNOLOGIES LTD. has developed a new method for rapid
incineration. The contamination by the flue gas emitted into the
atmosphere per one ton of waste is very low. This method highly
facilitates ecology management.
All of the contaminants in the flue gas are reduced to about 20%
of the common acceptable pollution level produced by the regular
furnace and discharged into the surrounding atmosphere.
Some of the contaminants are reduced by the new method even more
- as far down as zero (elimination). The quantity of liquid that
works in the scrubber and must be poured into the sewage is
likewise reduced to the same lower level.
The volume of solid fly ash is comparatively much smaller. The
solid bottom ash undergoes a process called vitrification that
neutralizes the ash material even if there are toxic substances
in it. In this state, it can be recycled into civil engineering
materials to create bricks, blocks, roofing tiles, road
infrastructure, and so forth, instead of being dumped into
landfills.

ADVANTAGES
* The absolute amount of the contaminants discharged into the
atmosphere per one ton of waste is about 20% of the amount
discharged by conventional methods.
* The liquid waste of the process is also reduced by the same
factor.
* The quantity of toxic fly ash produced is much lower than that
produced by a conventional furnace.
* The bottom ash is neutralized by vitrification.
* Tipping fees are reduced significantly.

The main APPLICATIONS for PURE FIRE TECHNOLOGIES are:
* Building an incinerator for solid municipal waste that emits
very little contamination into the atmosphere.
* Upgrading older incinerators so as to triple the mass of the
waste per time processed by the system, thereby significantly
reducing contaminants emitted into the atmosphere.
* Treating industrial waste more efficiently.
* Treating medical waste more efficiently
* Treating both toxic and non-toxic materials that need to be
disposed of.

PROJECT STATUS
PURE FIRE TECHNOLOGIES started its incubator period in April
2001. The Company is now independent of the Maayan incubator.
Technological feasibility completed and the company has a patent
application pending for its core technology. A laboratory model
is operational, in Ben Gurion University, with incineration
capacity of 50 Kg per hour of municipal solid waste.


COOPERATION REQUIRED
The company is seeking an investment of US $2 million to proceed
with it's plan to commercialize the process, upscale and set up a
commercial beta-site, with a strategic partner.
