PROJECT SUMMARY
YITRAN Communications Ltd. is a leading provider of power line
communications (PLC) modem integrated circuits. YITRAN designs,
develops and markets high performance low cost modem chips,
designed to provide reliable and robust communication over
existing power grids and electrical wiring.

Y-NET - Advanced Evaluation Package. Y-NET is suitable for the
development of a wide variety of applications including; AMR/AMM
(Automatic Meter Reading /Management), Energy Management, Street
Light Control, Industrial Automation, Home Automation and Control
applications.

IT800 - this SoC (System on a Chip) Power Line Communication
modem integrates the IT800 PHY+DLL. The Application Controller
(the Host) interfaces the device through a UART physical
interface, on top of which a simple command language is
implemented, allowing seamless integration with various
microprocessors.

PITEL - A system which provides "last-inch" broadband access over
existing powerline-wiring in buildings (No new wires!). The
solution complements and works in conjunction with the like of
optical fiber technologies, DSL, cable TV network, Satellite and
terrestrial wireless technologies. It is probably one of the
lowest cost solutions for broadband distribution to end-users.

ITM1 - A sophisticated, low cost, high performance power line
modem delivering 2.5Mbit/s of speed over residential power lines.

ITM10 - A highly robust, low cost, physical layer and MAC
delivering 24Mbit/s of speed over Power Lines. ITM10 employs an
advanced high bit rate modulation and detection scheme.

APPLICATIONS:
Narrowband applications: Home Automation,
AMR/AMM/AMI, Command &
Control such as lights and HVAC, Industrial Control. Broadband
applications: Home Networking & Entertainment, SoHo, Access /
Mini Access.

ADVANTAGES:
Broadband - Home Networking, utilizing the existing
electrical wiring and grids. Narrowband - Applications utilizing
the existing electrical wiring and grids, such as automation,
Command & Control, security and AMR (Automatic Meter Reading).
