PROJECT SUMMARY
Development of new technique for foliar fertilization based on
accelerators of leaf wax penetration.

APPLICATIONS
The adjuvants developed by AGRO-VANT will be used in all kinds of
plants to accelerate the delivery of agrochemicals through leaves
and flowers. There is a large number of potential products that
can be developed using AGRO-VANT's approach: FERTI-VANT,
HERBI-VANT, HARVEST-VANT, FLOWER-VANT, FRUIT-VANT .

ADVANTAGES
* AGRO-VANT's adjuvants increase the level of agrochemicals
delivered to plants.
* The doses of chemicals are reduced and better controlled.
* AGRO-VANT's approach does not alter the chemicals being
delivered or the leaves through which the chemicals are
delivered, or have any direct impact on the plant.
* The efficiency is enhanced and production levels are increased.
* The delivery system is chemically inert. Thus, ecology is
preserved.

PROJECT STATUS
The project is in its second year of the incubator period.
The initial tests with potassium compounds, performed on citrus
and olive trees, showed excellent results - a 20-25% increase in
production with three times more penetration through leaf
relative to other existing adjuvants.
The process has been licensed to AGRO-VANT by the Ben-Gurion
University of the Negev, where it was developed. is An Israeli
patent is pending. At least three patents are planned.
Comprehensive patent protection is expected.
