PROJECT SUMMARY
Development of a cake decorating system providing decorating
capabilities for cakes with edible color pictures on them,
similar to the currently available capabilities for printing on
paper. The printing system will consist of a PC, a scanner,
software and a special printer for food colors. In addition, an
edible film suitable for printing with edible colors for
attachment to the cake surface will be developed.

APPLICATIONS
* Decorating cakes with add-on edible printed films (standard or
custom-made).
* Decorating cakes with direct on-top printing.

MARKET:
The target market segments include professional pie/cake makers,
cafes and restaurants, customers for bakery-made pies/cakes and
bakers of homemade cakes.

PROJECT STATUS
The project has finished the second year of its incubator period.
A manufacturing agreement was signed with a prominent Israeli
manufacturer .
A number of printers were already sold to a few professional cake
makers.
The company applies for an Israeli patent and for overseas
patents.

COOPERATION REQUIRED
Seeking strategic partners/investors with overseas marketing
and/or production capabilities.
