PROJECT SUMMARY
Company's vision is to develop advanced visual search engine,
enabling the finding of pictures in very large data bases, by
their visual characteristics. At the long range - develop a
flexible system for computerized vision.

PRODUCT
AND TECHNOLOGY: Search engine that finds pictures that
are "similar" to a given picture. The similarity is determined by
comparing several characteristics of the pictures, identified by
the system's unique algorithms.

MARKET:
Currently, search - even for pictures - is based on textual
characteristics (e.g. tags). No good solution is available for a
"generic" search according to visual characteristics of pictures
(although there are some solutions for specific, very narrow and
focused applications). Vayar intends to develop a "general
purpose" visual search engine.

COMPETITION:
Theoretically - other visual search engines.
