PROJECT SUMMARY
The company develops an off-the-shelf artificial larval micro
diet (MD) as an economic live food (Rotifers and Artesia)
alternative.

FEEDPRO has taken a novel approach to the production of MD that
offers the potential of three unique features.
1. An MD that can satisfy the protein, trace element, lipid and
EFA requirement of the larvae.
2. An MD that stimulates the physiology of the larvae to improve
MD attraction, digestion and assimilation.
3. A delivery system for bioactive materials to improve the
health and robustness of the larvae, which can include compounds
that stimulate the immune system and/or offer therapeutic agents
against disease and infection.

APPLICATIONS

The MD can be implemented as larval feed in the aquaculture
industry for species such as Sea Bream, Cod, Shrimps and others.
