PROJECT SUMMARY
PALIN technologies is developing an advanced and improved,
ultrasonically based, fruit and vegetable cleaning process and
the associated washing machine.

THE PRODUCT
The project aims at developing a commercial washing machine,
which improves the removal of micro organisms from the surface of
fruits and vegetables, while reducing the cleaning duration and
detergent consumption, as compared to existing processes and
equipment. The cleaned products are submerged in water where they
become exposed to optimal radiation dosage of ultrasonic energy,
leading to high level of microorganism removal without damaging
the products.

THE MARKET
The market for the product are industrialized kitchens, which
serve several hundreds customers and up. Hygiene sensitive places
such as hospitals, hotels, expensive restaurant etc. will benefit
especially from the improved cleaning capability of the machine.


STAFF
PALIN's staff includes a mechanical engineer, system engineer,
ultrasonic and electronic scientist. All staff members are highly
skilled and experienced in the related fields. External
consultants are employed when necessary. Employees of the
strategic partners provide technical and commercial guidance and
assistance.

PROJECT STATUS
The company has finished its second year of the incubator period.
Palin Technologies is focusing on design and manufacturing of the
second prototype, which will enable to test all the practical
aspects of the process.

COOPERATION REQUIRED
STRATEGIC PARTNER: PALIN was joined by a strategic partner,
active for many years in the relevant field as a manufacturer and
distributor. Palin seeks other strategic partners able to
penetrate US and European markets.
